As of today I get to work in the metal workshop of the Bildhauerwerkstatt Berlin, an immense complex with a ceramics, a wood, and a metal workshop.
I am assigned a spacious place by Nicholas, the workshop manager; a big space where I may work for the next few weeks, located under the only window in the workshop. Here I can start using my copper tools.
Regular earsplitting noise can be heard from other artists working here. It smells of metal grinding. I feel at home here.
