Art arises between what you know, between the material world and that strange chaos we have inside, whatever form that takes now, it is at best a very precarious balance between the conscious and the unconscious. Everyone lives in that dangerous and fantastic world between things you know and things you don't know, between light and dark, and creating a form of order in that, that's what art is, and in that sense there is really only one artist, consisting of all artists together.
