Patch

Berlin, March 3, 2020

In WWII, a major part of the carpet collection of the Islamic Museum Berlin was destroyed.

In the years '48-'49, curator Mizi Donner restored a quarter of the Animal Carpet I-1 by patching together the burnt remainings; on display at the Pergamon Museum Berlin.
